Northbrook Lodge is located on a 10 acre peninsula on Osgood Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Constructed in the 1920s, Northbrook was built in the tradition of the Adirondack Great Camps of its time. This charming architectural style is evident in the Boathouse/Lounge which is available to all guests at Northbrook.
Many guests use Northbrook as a base for their Boathouse/Lounge, Adirondack explorations and adventures. Others choose to simply relax and appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the site.
There are loons and several species of ducks that make Osgood Lake their summer home. Fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass is excellent, and pike, perch, and bullhead are also plentiful.
Guests have use of several canoes, rowboats and a kayak to help them explore the Lake and the Osgood River. An electric motor and boat is also available for rental. Those who bring their own canoes have over 50 lakes and ponds to visit within a 30 minute drive of Northbrook Lodge.
Located on the property is a grassy beach and swim area. Also available is a ping pong table, pool table, badminton, and shuffleboard.
Whether you are an avid canoeist or simply prefer to sit on a porch and listen to the call of loons, Northbrook Lodge can provide the north woods setting that you are seeking.
